Catherine is an experienced divorce and family law solicitor with Woolley & Co, Solicitors, based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. She is a member of Resolution, a trained collaborative lawyer and a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel.
Having worked in the family law arena since 1997, Catherine has experience of dealing with the full range of family law issues including divorce, children, financial, cohabitation and domestic violence.
“I genuinely work towards assisting clients to find the most appropriate solutions, dealing with matters in the least confrontational and most constructive way possible. Using my skills as a collaborative family lawyer I encourage clients to think of practical solutions to problems and to retain control of the legal processes that happen around them. I am able to “think out of the box” and have found this particularly useful in several complex Children Act cases which have reached satisfactory conclusions. I’m a member of Resolution, which means I’m committed to helping clients resolve disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational way.
If a case goes to Court I pride myself on being able to offer a focused and client centred approach, with a view to achieving the best possible outcome for my client, at all times.
When not working, I enjoy walking my dogs and spending time with family and friends.”
Catherine qualified as a solicitor in December 1999 and joined Woolley & Co in November 2012 from a law firm based in Stoke on Trent.
