Woolley & Co are proud to have a large specialist family law team consistently recognised for high level, complex and diverse work. As our Professional Support Lawyer (PSL), Kathryn is committed to supporting and developing our lawyers’ knowledge and training to ensure they remain at the cutting edge of family law. Kathryn works with the management team and lawyers to ensure the family law service we provide remains innovative and, above all, client and children focussed.
Kathryn qualified as a solicitor in September 2002 and joined Woolley & Co in 2010 from a law firm in London. Throughout her career, Kathryn has specialised in divorce and separation, as well as related financial matters, and has a particular interest in disputes around children, particularly those with an international element. The reported case of Re O (A Child) (Fact Finding) is an example of the work Kathryn has undertaken involving parental alienation and implacable hostility.
Kathryn was named as a Leading Individual for Family Law in Wales in Legal 500. Legal 500 noted Kathryn as a “star performer”, praised for her “pragmatic advice” and who “takes a no-nonsense approach but is also very empathetic and understanding of her clients’ needs”.
Kathryn no longer undertakes work direct for clients due to her PSL responsibilities.
